Designing the Buyer Centric Funnel

Designing a customer-centric funnel will always be one of the most important steps in the development of the product. Everyone in the industry knows how we should treat customers well As Laura Ashley said:

"We don't want to push our ideas on to customers, we simply want to make what they want".

Recognizing the customer need is crucial while developing a successful funnel as many people Start various Start-up every single day but there are few which become successful for example “Patanjali Ayurved” but the question arises here is “WHAT IS FUNNEL?”

“A funnel in simple words is the path walked by the customer from being a normal visitor for just exploring the product to becoming a loyal customer of the product forever.”

We classified the marketing funnel will have the following stages.

  • Awareness: In the First stage, we will be aware of the product which solves the customer basic problem by means Social media post, blog posts, podcasts, YouTube videos and infographics which attract to thousands of people. Instead of focusing on the competition, we need to focus on the customer.
  • Evaluation: This is called as lead generation, In this stage potential and interested customers will dare into a deeper interest in your product and its features. The content here can be anything such as white papers, e-books, Pdf, newsletters, Web Seminar and so on. These are given free to people who visit your website from Social media post, blog posts, podcasts, YouTube videos, infographics other forms of awareness content as “lead magnets”, because they provide their email and contact information in exchange for the free content by which we stabiles a man to man interaction from wide Social Network.
If more consumers decide not to convert, the funnel may not be narrower. When the customer reaches the point of purchase, the funnel becomes narrower.
  • Purchase: In this stage, these potential customers will finally become a permanent and loyal customer. Which is very difficult as your target customer is encouraged to purchase your products. Now they will look for all single details in products such as questionnaires, demos, product specifications, webinars and other things
  • Delight: The final stage occurs after you’ve converted a lead into a loyal customer. Increasing rates by just a small percentage can boost profits a lot.

This funnel may vary based on your business model of the organization and industry but the basics always remain at the same.

What “flip the funnel” means?

This term implies retaining current loyal customers to gain new ones. Marketers spend most of their time looking for new customers we have to keep loyal customers happy, so we don’t have to always go looking for new ones.

Conclusion

Creating the right funnel requires proper market study and strong determination. When your product is focused on customer improvement, ultimately your customers have a stronger engagement with your products.
